About Loudspeakers

The main part of our offering are loudspeakers based on full-range speakers from the British company LOWTHER. The frequency range of the speaker (22.5cm diameter), with a very light paper diaphragm covers 30Hz to 22.5kHz (EX4 drive unit). They are equipped with very powerful ferrite magnets, alnico or rare earth metal ones; allowing for an effectiveness in the boundaries of 94….99 dB (in case of tube enclosures the efficiency can be even higher), that makes them able to work with low power amplifiers. The usage of one speaker fulfils the idea of a point sound source, without phase distortion characteristic to multi-way designs, related to the distance differences between the listener and the drivers, as well as the negative impact of the cross-over and filter, and the effect of that is a natural reproduction of the space. Because the whole frequency range is radiating from just one diaphragm, we get outstanding homogeneity of the transmission in the whole frequency range, on a level not achieved by any other design. The low mass of the diaphragm together with the high effectiveness guarantees exceptional speed, dynamics and holographic presentation, as well as phenomenal resolution, what results in an incredibly suggestive impression of being at a live musical event. Conducting research for many years, optimizing the loudspeaker enclosures, we found out, that the importance of the used materials and, even the glue used to connect the elements, is not less than the type of enclosure. The enclosures are glued together with glue especially chosen for its capabilities of dampening vibration from elements of exactly chosen dimensions and manufactured from different kinds of wood. On the outside we provide a veneer from natural or modified wood, also unique ones, rarely encountered, achieving inimitable looks.

Combined with the battery powered amplifier and player from the Perun or Enigma series we get a system that really earns the “the state of the art” name.

In our loudspeakers we also use Accuton drivers with ceramic or diamond diaphragms. Their above average rigidity allows for a stiff piston way of work. They are characterized with a splendid speed, transparency, coherence and purity of the sound. Due to the usage of the same material for all the drivers in a loudspeaker we get an extremely unified sound across the full frequency range.

LOUDSPEAKERS LTB

Specifications:

The two way system using full-range 16cm Lowther drivers enhanced with 25cm woofers to support lower frequencies. The loudspeakers work optimally in a bi-amping configuration (we recommend an integrated amplifier or a pre-power combination with a cross-over built in the preamplifier section and a separate power amplifier powering the woofers from the Enigma series.

LOUDSPEAKERS SWAR MK II

Specifications:

The two-way bass-reflex stand mount speaker uses two ceramic diaphragm drivers: 17.3cm (6.5”) mid-woofer and a 2.5cm (1”) tweeter. Those loudspeakers are the successors of the earlier produced models TSM-20 and Swar. Compared to the previous constructions more modern speakers are used and the enclosures are made from birch plywood and exotic woods. We propose different veneers (on the photo the veneer is dark ebony).
